Cow Factory

An industrial farm housing more than 8,000 cows is intended to be built in Lincolnshire in the English countryside. Nocton is going to be Britain's largest dairy farm ever. The controversial plans include keeping the cattle in machine like homes where they will have little to no access to grass or sunshine. The cows will be milked around the clock, three times a day in an automatic milking shed. Nocton is a 'zero-grazing supersize' cattle farm where the cows will have no room to move around and will be fed dried grass. The £40million farm is supposed to be built before the end of the year.
